Autumn in a bowl

It's nearly fall..... And I think I've managed to capture the essence of the season in one healthy bowl... 
Apple and carrot cake oatmeal. 🍂


Yield: 1 serving




Ingredients:

Oats:
1/2 cup oats + 1 cup water
1/4 apple (shredded)
1 carrot (shredded)
1/2 banana (mashed)
1/2 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 scoop protein powder 
Lots of cinnamon 
Some nutmeg
.
Instructions:

1. Add all of the ingredients to a pot, and cook until creamy!
2. Top with deliciousness, listed below.

Top with:
Handful of raisins
1/2 banana (sliced) 
Some raspberries (mine were thawed from frozen)
Handful of cranberries
1/4 apple (sliced) 
Almond shreds because they're pretty
More cinnamon!
